The challenge

What wasn’t working

Every month, the team exported data from Tally and reconciled it against GST records by hand in Excel. Each report took around three hours, and the work bunched up at month-end when everyone was busiest.

What we built

The solution

    A Python pipeline pulls every transaction for the month straight from Tally.

  2. 2

    Each entry is matched against GST portal data line by line.

  3. 3

    Mismatches go to a short review list; everything else is cleared automatically.

  4. 4

    GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B drafts are produced in Excel and sent to the team by WhatsApp and email.
